Working Groups

Co-creating climate research projects that advance the creation of equitable solutions

ECF's Working Groups are aimed at advancing innovative, transdisciplinary research that advances climate solutions, broadly defined, driven by stakeholder needs and priorities, with a focus on under-resourced and historically marginalized groups. The Working Groups will engage researchers and experts from community organizations, government, and/or industry in co-creating climate research projects that advance the creation of equitable solutions.

The first cohort of ECF’s Working Groups marks a key step in advancing community-driven, interdisciplinary climate research at Brown.

Each working group has been co-created with stakeholders from under-resourced and historically marginalized groups, addressing locally defined priorities and needs. These inaugural groups reflect ECF’s commitment to scalable, equity-centered climate solutions, and they represent just the beginning. Future cohorts will continue expanding this community-engaged approach to climate research.
