Equitable Climate Futures

Equitable Climate Futures

Equitable Climate Futures is an initiative that will build Brown’s capacity for climate research, with a strong focus on under-resourced and historically marginalized groups.

About the Program

Brown's strengths in transdisciplinary research and its lasting partnerships with NGOs, policymakers, and the private sector make it uniquely positioned to drive equitable climate solutions—and envision the impact of future climate changes on communities—across local, regional, national, and international scales.

What is transdisciplinary research?

Transdisciplinary research brings together diverse academic disciplines and extends beyond academia—collaborating with community members, policymakers, industry leaders to tackle today’s complex challenges.
